Aberdeen Harbour

Facilitation of a programme of stakeholder and community engagement events and production of a cohesive Development Framework for the Harbour and its surrounding context, which was adopted as Supplementary Guidance in 2012. Continued support for Aberdeen Harbour Board with proposals to expand into nearby Nigg Bay, facilitating further stakeholder and community engagement events as well as the ongoing delivery of promotional brochures explaining the process so far. The proposal has been identified as a National Development in the Draft NPF3 as well as having status in the Proposed Aberdeen City and Shire SDP.
