Claire Thomson
I am an experienced Urban Designer, with a background in Architecture. I have a passion for placemaking and the built environment which promises quality design at every level. I enjoy working with others, be they clients, other consultants or stakeholders in the development process.
I have several years’ experience in the day-to-day management of projects; liaising with sub consultants, pressing for deadlines, and turning around high-quality work within the time frames and budget. I have guided various projects from initial analysis to technical detail, delivering small scale and wide scale masterplans, supporting documents such as Development Frameworks, Design & Access Statements, and other promotional design guides, as well as the production of detailed layouts.
I have a strong understanding of various engagement techniques and take great pleasure in discussing projects with those most affected by them.
